How many people will come to clean my house?
One or two, depending on the size and scope of the job. Technicians usually work solo; larger projects run as a team of two.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No — do whatever you are comfortable with. Plenty of clients are at work. Leave instructions and a code or key and we will work remotely and lock up behind us. If you would rather be home, that is equally fine and it does not change the price.
How much does it cost?
It depends on square footage, the current condition of the home, which service you need, and which add-ons apply. A 1,200 sq ft condo cleaned monthly and a 3,000 sq ft house that has not been cleaned in a year are not the same job, so the quote asks about your home instead of showing a flat rate.
How long will it take?
Cleaning time varies with size, condition and scope. For organizing, starter sessions run in two-hour blocks, and most rooms take roughly two to three hours per 300–700 sq ft. Smaller items take longer — a craft room full of beads can outlast a garage full of boxes.
What is the difference between a deep clean and recurring service?
A deep clean is the full published standard, including the detail work a maintenance visit is not scoped to reach. Recurring service holds that result afterward, covering the surfaces, floors, kitchens, bathrooms and glass that need regular attention. Most homes start with one deep clean and then move to recurring.
What is not included?
Biohazard cleanup, bug infestations, trash removal, exterior areas, window and door tracks, chimneys and fireplaces, heavy lifting or furniture moving, scrubbing walls or ceilings, unfinished or concrete surfaces, and chandeliers. The full exclusion list is published alongside what is included — keeping the scope explicit protects your home, our team, and the quality of the appointment.
What areas do you not organize?
Anywhere except attics and crawlspaces. Bug-infested areas and biohazard risks are also subject to denial of service.
Do you move furniture?
No. Please relocate anything blocking an area you would like cleaned before the appointment. For carpet care, leave the carpet to dry — typically six to twenty-four hours — before putting furniture back.
Are you insured?
Yes. Gleaming Cleaning LLC carries liability insurance, and a certificate is available on request before your first appointment. It is worth asking any cleaning company for this, not just us.
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes, everything needed comes with us, and products are chosen with children and pets in mind. If you would prefer something specific used in your home — a particular finish, an allergy, a sensitivity — say so in your request and we will work with it.
What if something is not right?
Tell us within 24 hours and we come back to correct it. The published standard exists precisely so that this is a short conversation against a written document rather than a disagreement about what "clean" was supposed to mean.
