A locally owned, woman-operated cleaning company serving Raleigh and Wake County since 2020. The work is simple to explain and hard to do well: communicate clearly, clean thoroughly, respect the home, and leave each space easier to live in.
Most people calling a cleaning company are not shopping for a bargain. They are deciding whether to hand a stranger a key to the place their family sleeps. That decision is about trust, and trust is easier to give when the terms are written down rather than promised on a phone call.
Who actually shows up
Gleaming Cleaning is owner-operated. Ashlynn runs the company and works appointments herself, so the person who quotes your job is usually the person who cleans it. Most jobs run with one or two cleaners depending on size and scope. As the team grows, anyone sent into a home is trained against the same published standard — no day-labor subcontracting, and no rotating cast you have never met.
Keys, codes and access
Most clients are at work during their appointment, and that is entirely normal. Access is arranged in writing beforehand — lockbox, door code, or key — and we lock up behind us. Codes are never shared beyond the person working your job. If you would rather be home, that is equally fine, and it does not change the price.
Insurance
Gleaming Cleaning LLC carries liability insurance and a certificate is available on request before your first appointment. Ask for it — from any cleaning company, not only this one. North Carolina issues no residential cleaning license, so insurance is the credential that actually means something.
Eco-conscious by default
Products are chosen with children, pets and sensitive households in mind rather than for the fastest possible result. If you would prefer something specific used in your home — a particular finish, an allergy, a scent you cannot tolerate — say so in your request and we will work with it.
Why the standard is published
Every service is scoped to a document of 18 included lines, 9 optional add-ons and 11 stated exclusions. It exists so "clean" means the same thing to you and to us before money changes hands — and so that if something is missed, there is a written standard to point at instead of an argument to have.
Gleaming Gives
Giving is built into the work.
Cleaning happens at turning points — a move, a downsize, a hard year. Through the Gleaming Gives Initiative we donate time, dollars and useful items to local Raleigh causes, and help clients redirect what they are clearing out instead of sending it to landfill.
